Kainos Selected for the Microsoft Speech Server 2007 Technology Adoption Program

BELFAST and DUBLIN — Kainos, one of Ireland's business solutions providers, is participating in the Microsoft Speech Server 2007 Technical Adoption Program (TAP). As a TAP participant, Kainos has had the opportunity to evaluate and begin building on the pre-release of Speech Server 2007 over the last several months. A select group of companies were chosen to participate in the Speech Server 2007 TAP based on their experience with and use of the Speech Server platform.

"The Speech Server TAP provides our innovative customers and partners with the opportunity to evaluate Speech Server 2007 and ultimately influence the product through their feedback," said Clint Patterson, director of product management for Microsoft Speech Server. "Speech Server 2007 is opening up speech and telephony options for companies across the board, and we're pleased with the great feedback provided by our TAP participants."

Microsoft Speech Server is Microsoft's interactive voice response (IVR) platform and provides the tools, run-time environment, and services needed for speech-enabled telephony applications on an integrated platform. Speech Server 2007 is scheduled for release in late 2006.
