Loquendo Brings Speech to TI’s eBook Development Platform

Texas Instruments (TI) has selected Loquendo's Embedded TTS and ASR for its newly-announced OMAP processor-based eBook development platform.

TI’s eBook development platform is a comprehensive reference solution that features TI's OMAP3621 processor, a sleek 9.7” electrophoretic display, the WiLink 6.0 WiFi/Bluetooth/FM “combo” connectivity solution, the new TPS6518x electronic paper display (EPD) power management IC, along with other TI analog solutions and 3G modem connectivity support. It is a multimedia development environment for creating exciting new eReader applications, and greatly reduces design and development time.
