Loquendo Speech Technologies Certified Interoperable with Genesys Voice Platform 8
The Loquendo MRCP Server, part of the larger Loquendo Speech Suite 7.0, which incorporates Loquendo ASR 7.8 and Loquendo TTS 7.8, has been certified interoperable with the Genesys Voice Platform 8.1.
Genesys Voice Platform (GVP) version 8 is the latest release of Genesys’ interactive voice response (IVR) software platform. Loquendo technologies have, for several years now, offered interoperability with previous versions of GVP.
GVP 8 leverages voice in customer service by tightly integrating key technologies such as SIP and Web integration, as well as providing a single development environment for contact centers that use the Genesys Customer Interaction Management (CIM) platform. GVP 8 supports virtually all major open, speech-related standards and critical applications, including: VXML, CCXML, SIP, VoIP, IP PBXs, gateways and softswitches, and open compatibility with virtually any major third-party hardware and software, and can connect to more VoIP environments than any other platform.
Loquendo MRCP Server is a backward-compatible evolution of Loquendo Speech Suite. Loquendo MRCP Server and Loquendo Speech Suite are server solutions for adding speech interaction to large-scale telephony applications, such as contact centers and message reading services. They enable enterprises to significantly reduce costs by interacting with customers via a speech interface - reliable, natural and intuitive to use.

Loquendo MRCP Server 7.1 and Speech Suite 7.0 are available for the following operating systems, both in the 32 and 64 bit version, where applicable:
- Windows XP Professional, Windows Server 2003 and 2008;
- Red Hat Linux Enterprise Edition 3, 4 and 5;
- Linux CentOS 5; and
- SuSE 10 SP2.
And Loqiuendo's products will soon be expanded further following its entrance into Microsoft’s Windows Embedded Partners Program (WEPP), a strategic worldwide program that strengthens its partners’ competitiveness by providing technological information and advice, market awareness, and increased business opportunities.
By joining the WEPP, Loquendo will now have a closer relationship with developers of applications and services, and, via WEPP online, a rapid and convenient means of exchanging information on Loquendo technologies, means of integration, compatibility issues, etc. Developers working around Windows Embedded Platforms will now find it easier than ever before to create exciting and innovative applications integrating Loquendo Embedded TTS and ASR.
Loquendo speech technologies have, for several years now, offered extensive support for Windows Embedded operating systems, and have already been widely installed on a huge variety of devices by leading manufacturers and application developers built on Microsoft Embedded platforms. This includes sales of several million units displaying the Nav N Go, Hewlett-Packard and Alpine brands.
