Loquendo Technology Available for Asterisk Development

Loquendo and I6NET, a provider of interactive voice and video response technologies and IP/3G telephony solutions for Asterisk, today announced a new update for its integration of Loquendo text to speech into VXI* VoiceXML browser for Asterisk platforms.

With the I6NET VXI* for Asterisk platform, customers can connect Loquendo’s TTS voices to send and receive voice and video messages, access podcasts, newspapers, etc.

VXI* use a high-optimized integration with Asterisk that provides advanced voice and video services, including protocol conversion, SSML, media conversion and streaming, application logic, and third-party integration. It supports industry standards for and is compatible with all devices supported by Asterisk.
