M*Modal Releases Medical Dictation App for iPhone
M*Modal has launched M*Modal Fluency Flex Mobile, a medical dictation app for iPhone mobile digital devices. M*Modal Fluency Flex Mobile allows doctors to record clinical notes during patient encounters for integration with electronic health record systems (EHRs).
M*Modal Fluency Flex Mobile is a cloud-based application that connects doctors with hospital information systems to access patient data and dictate notes on the go. The app captures high-quality audio, which is converted to text using the M*Modal Fluency for Transcription speech engine for fast turnaround time and integration in provider workflows and clinical documentation systems.
"M*Modal developed this new mobile app with the physician in mind, delivering accurate, high-quality medical transcription with the convenience of anytime, anywhere dictation," said Duncan James, CEO of M*Modal, in a statement. "Healthcare providers can streamline the clinical documentation process by using devices they already carry with them.
