Metaphor Teams Up with Genesys to Provide Speech IVR Solutions

Metaphor Solutions and Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories have formed a strategic relationship.  Metaphor has joined the Genesys InterWorks Partner Program and, as part of the agreement, will bring Metaphor speech solutions to market using the Genesys Voice Platform, a software-based IVR.  As part of this announcement, Metaphor has made all of its 22 packaged speech applications available on the Genesys Voice Platform, for both enterprise and network-hosted offerings. 

These Metaphor speech IVR applications include solutions in financial services, retail and healthcare. Examples of speech applications include Location Finder, Auto-Attendant, PIN Reset and Literature Request as well as SpeechOutlook, an enterprise-wide application which allows voice access to Microsoft Outlook Web Access through any phone. Existing and new Genesys customers who have Genesys Voice Platform will now be able to offer speech solutions to their user and client base.
