Microsoft Veteran Joins SpeechCycle Executive Team

SpeechCycle appointed Albert Kim as vice president of engineering. Kim will be responsible for SpeechCycle's software engineering and speech recognition science teams, encompassing applications that automate technical support calls for high speed Internet, video, and voice services.

Prior to joining SpeechCycle, Kim was a founder and president of Equicast Media LLC. Kim was also a group manager and principal consultant at Microsoft Corp. for more than 13 years where he led project teams focusing on applications for cable and telecommunication services, application outsourcers, and Internet service providers. Kim was awarded Microsoft's Architectural Engineer of the Year award in 1998.

Albert Kim earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from Long Island University.
