MindBio Launches Intox Collect to Detect Intoxication with Voice
MindBio Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing voice analytics for drug and alcohol intoxication detection, has launched Intox Collect, which uses voice and facial recognition data combined with artificial intelligence to detect the use of a wide range of substances, including alcohol and drugs that effect the central nervous system.
Intox Collect is at the center of the company's data collection, testing and analytical capabilities for a range of stimulants and depressants. Its artificial intelligence model uses more than 50 million data points, (with that number expected to triple in the coming months) to predict drug and alcohol intoxication just by using the human voice.
"The digital health diagnostics market represents a significant opportunity for MindBio to leverage its diagnostics technology with a first-mover advantage in speech analytics for drug and alcohol intoxication detection," said MindBio CEO Justin Hanka in a statement. "Our technology gives us a significant advantage in using voice to develop non-invasive health diagnostic tools."
