Murf AI Launches Falcon Text-to-Speech API
Murf AI, a voice solutions provider, has launched Murf Falcon, a text-to-speech application programming interface for building voice agents.
Murf Falcon features an ultra-low model latency of 55 milliseconds, support for more than 35 languages powered by Murf's MultiNative Technology, and data residency across 11 regions.
"Developers often face trade-offs between responsiveness, naturalness, and cost when working with low-latency text-to-speech systems," said Ankur Edkie, co-founder and CEO of Murf AI, in a statement. "With Murf Falcon, those tradeoffs are gone. Falcon was designed with a lightweight architecture custom-built for voice agents. It uses a compute-efficient proprietary neural architecture that outperforms much larger systems in context awareness, while delivering the speed benefits of a smaller model. It is ultra-fast, precise, and efficient."
Murf Falcon also offers code-mixing capabilities, seamlessly speaking multiple languages in a single sentence. Its conversational prosody handles disfluencies delivering 99.38 percent pronunciation accuracy.
From global e-commerce platforms enhancing multilingual customer interactions to healthcare providers scaling patient-facing virtual assistants, Murf Falcon's text-to-speech API powers streaming, natural-sounding voice output and is backed by Murf AI's commitment to data privacy, transparency, and ethical AI.
