NASCAR Races to Deploy Speech

Just in time for this Saturday's Heath Calhoun 400 at Richmond International Speedway, NASCAR has launched a new toll-free number for auto racing fans to call for all their NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Camping World Series tickets needs. Using the number, which is powered by Convergys' Intervoice Voice Portal (IVP) interactive voice response technology, racing fans can dial the official NASCAR directory at 1-866-GO-NASCAR for tickets to and information about NASCAR events at tracks across the country. 

“To get tickets and information about events, race fans want the same convenient, one-stop shopping as anyone else,” said Jim Boyce, Convergys' president of global sales and services. “They can now call one single, easy-to-remember toll-free number for the tickets and information they need.” 

IVP will allow NASCAR fans who attend multiple races easier access to upcoming ticket options for any of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, and NASCAR Camping World Truck series events.
