NSC Announces a Speech Recognition Board for Small-Scale Speech Driven Applications

NSC (Natural Speech Communication) has announced a new product  - The NSCBoard-2. This is a half-size PCI board capable of supporting up to eight simultaneous speech recognition channels.   The NSCBoard-2 is added to NSC's family of speech recognition boards by offering a solution suitable for the SME market. Application developers can now offer "all-in-one-box" solutions by either upgrading existing IVR systems or installing new systems, mainly targeted to applications such as call routing, company address book, voice dialer and office voicemail but can also serve small call centers.   The NSCBoard-2 can be installed in any free PCI slot in an existing system upgrading the services to be speech driven without any change in the system architecture
