OneTravel Launches Opal Voice-Integrated Flight Search
OneTravel has launched Opal, a personalized, voice-activated travel agent, on its mobile app.
Travelers using their mobile devices' built-in microphones can now interact with Opal, a voice-activated agent, to book flights, search schedules, and more.
OneTravel Android app users can now search for flights by tapping the microphone icon on the flight search screen and interacting with Opal using their voices. Opal can search more than 450 airlines on OneTravel, ask for missing search criteria or details, read between the lines using context clues, knowing whether a traveler is flying one way or roundtrip, and direct travelers to OneTravel's customer service if needed. To modify searches, users can either key-in or speak the changes.
