Phonetic Systems and XTEND Communications Partner

Phonetic Systems and XTEND Communications announced the integration of the Voice Search Engine (VSETM) into XTEND's suite of telecommunications and contact center solutions. Phonetic Systems and XTEND will collaborate on joint sales and marketing activities and work together in bringing proven and customer-driven speech solutions to market. By integrating the VSE, XTEND will be able to add speech as a feature to any of their existing products. Phonetic Systems will be able to resell the integrated XTEND applications to its customers and prospects. "XTEND has always been about following the needs of our customers," said Tom Clark, executive vice president, sales and marketing for XTEND. "We're convinced that adding Phonetic Systems VSE technology, and their prepackaged modules like the Phonetic Operator, will not only allow us to help our customers improve efficiencies and service levels, but to realize much greater economies of scale as they add new applications or features. We look forward to exploring more ways to work together in order to better serve our respective customers." "XTEND's depth of experience in providing leading-edge communications applications to contact center, enterprise, medical and carrier sectors spans more than 35 years," stated Mark Bannon, vice-president of sales and technical services. "By adding Phonetic Systems' comprehensive expertise in speech, customers greatly benefit by getting the most robust and scalable speech solutions available today."
