Premier Cabs to Automate Telephone Booking Service
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - Premier Cabs, Sydney's second largest cab company, has chosen VisibleVoice to deliver an automated telephone taxi booking solution. Premier Cabs handles in excess of 3.6 million calls per year through their modern call center, which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The new taxi auto-booking system will allow Premier Cab's customers to book taxis by telephone without the need for busy call center staff to manually enter the details into the taxi despatch system. The VeloCT Enterprise system will use Speech Recognition technology by SpeechWorks to capture destination suburbs spoken by the caller, which are then passed through the despatch system and displayed onto the taxi driver's console.
