Presence Technology Releases Its Contact Center Software for the Open Source Asterisk PBX

MADRID - Presence Technology plans to join the open source community after developing solutions integrated with Asterisk IP telephony platform. The company also announced that Presence Optimizer Voice is now available for the Asterisk PBX.

Asterisk is an IP telephony platform running on Linux which supports a range of protocols for the handling and transmission of VoIP interfaces, such as SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and H. 323.

Presence's solutions suite will be integrated with Asterisk. The first Presence solution developed for Asterisk is Presence CRM Voice, a voice tool for call centers with IP capabilities while also supporting traditional TDM infrastructures.  In the road map of Presence Technology, the solution for IVR (using text-to-speech from Atlas) - Presence Interactive Routing Voice Option - is also going to be available for the Asterisk platform.
