Pronexus and Mitel Networks Announce Distribution Agreement

Pronexus, a provider of computer telephony software solutions,  has entered into a distribution agreement with Mitel Networks.

Mitel Networks will distribute Pronexus VBVoice, a development environment for business-critical computer telephony applications. In addition, Mitel Networks will use VBVoice for the development of turnkey custom Integrated Voice Response applications.

Pronexus has also joined the recently announced MiSolutions Network (MiSN), a third-party provider program aimed at delivering a broad range of software applications to enhance the Mitel Networks portfolio. "

With this announcement we are pleased to formalize a relationship that has been in place for quite some time now," said Ray Brown, Vice President, Enterprise Solutions, Mitel Networks. "The addition of VBVoice allows us to deliver a number of turnkey and custom software development solutions that provide extended benefits to our award-winning contact center solutions portfolio."

VBVoice integrates into Microsoft Visual Studio.NET and combines a user interface with a range of telephony controls for better developer productivity. Its scalable architecture supports technologies such as Voice over IP (VoIP), Text-to-Speech (TTS), Speech Recognition (ASR) and TAPI, all without a proprietary language learning curve.

"Pronexus is pleased to form this strong relationship with Mitel Networks," said Gary T. Hannah, President & CEO of Pronexus Inc. "Mitel Networks extensive network of channel partners coupled with our proven telephony development environment will provide customers with comprehensive, robust and scalable communication solutions."
