SFR Deploys Mobile Speak to Visually Impaired Mobile Subscribers

SFR, a French mobile operator, offers subscribers equipped with a multimedia device free software that makes key features of the handset accessible by speech.

MobileSpeak enables text-to-speech use in SFR's mobile phones.

The end-user can access information such as battery or network indicators and can benefit from all the functionalities of their mobile phone, including SMS vocalization or access to online services.

The Acapela text-to-speech transforms menu and phone features into a voice mode.

Mobile Speak is compatible with the following series: Nokia 6680, 6260 and Ngage QD and Nokia 3230, 6600, 6630, 6670, 7610, Panasonic X 700, Samsung SGH D 720.
