Suki Launches Suki Dictation
Suki has released Suki Dictation, which can be deployed independently or alongside Suki's ambient clinical documentation.
Built natively inside the Epic and MEDITECH electronic health record programs, Suki Dictation enables clinicians to document the way they work while allowing health systems to purchase only the capabilities they need. It brings artificial intelligence-powered dictation and ambient documentation together on a single platform.
Looking ahead, future innovations include next-generation streaming speech recognition, conversational voice editing, AI-assisted procedure note generation, intelligent voice commands, and interactive clinical assistance that enables clinicians to retrieve patient information and complete documentation without leaving the electronic health record.
"Healthcare has accepted a false choice for too long: either buy massive documentation licenses or give up modern AI dictation," said Abhi Pathak, chief product officer of Suki, in a statement. "That shouldn't be how software works. We built Suki Dictation because clinicians deserve the flexibility to document the way they want, and health systems deserve the freedom to purchase only the technology they actually need. By bringing AI dictation and ambient documentation together on a single platform, we're giving organizations choice instead of forcing compromise."
Suki Dictation is available as a stand-alone solution or as part of Suki for Clinicians. Healthcare technology companies can also embed dictation directly into their own products.
