Telisma Launches Its New Product Line

PARIS, FRANCE - Telisma, a software editor specializing in speech recognition tools for the telecommunications sector is launching its new product line, based on a real time distributed architecture. The Voice Distributed Framework architecture lets operators and integrators deploy speech-based applications intended to be used by millions of users. It supports the management of updates and the extension of these applications, as well as any addition to or faults in the platform in the architecture. A monitoring system, based on SNMP V3, also supervises load balancing between the platforms in order to prevent any malfunction: this is an obvious benefit when one of the major requirements of speech-based services is that they are available 24 hours per day. Optimized for integration into this architecture, the new version of telisma's speech recognition engine Telisma Philsoft 3.1 provides increased precision and robustness, especially in mobile and noisy environments. Provided with this engine, Philmodeling studio 2.1, a graphical development tool, is designed to enable and to accelerate the development of speech-based applications as well as to test them before they are implemented. In addition, the architecture also contains a connector which is intended for all text-to-speech engines which meet the SAPI 4 and SAPI 5 standards. "The Voice Distributed Framework, Philsoft® 3.1 and Philmodeling studio are part of the same process: we want to offer our partners not only exceptional products, but also the tools which go with them, in order to help them with the quick and industrial implementation of speech technology-based solutions. They have been designed with the scalability requirements of our customers in mind, and represent real progress in this regard," says Xavier Baudouin, Product Line Manager.
