U.S. Marine Corps Places Order for Additional ATC Tower Simulators from Adacel

Adacel received an additional order in excess of $1 million to supply its MaxSim air traffic control Tower Simulator Systems (TSS) to the U.S. Marine Corps.

With this latest order, the USMC will purchase two additional systems and one additional database. The USMC will use these newest MaxSim simulators to enhance training capabilities at their Air Stations in Futenma, Japan and Quantico, Virginia. The additional database is for MCALF Bogue Field, NC.

Under the terms of the original agreement, the USMC had the right to exercise options for more TSS systems. This brings the total Marine Corps procurement to nine Adacel MaxSim simulators and 10 databases.

Adacel is the supplier for ATC tower simulation systems for the Air Force,  Army, and Federal Aviation Administration, as well as civil aviation authorities in Europe and the Middle East, and several aviation universities.
