United States Postal Service Enters into Contract with Wizzard

PITTSBURGH, PA - Wizzard Software (OTCBB: WIZD) announced that it has been awarded a speech recognition software development contract by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to participate in their Bank Secrecy Act initiative. The USPS has developed and implemented software to comply with mandates issued by federal legislation known as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). The software allows the USPS to identify, track and report suspicious activity patterns, thus placing the USPS in compliance with the legislation. The USPS uses the software in its anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism initiatives. "The Wizzard development team was selected for its years of experience in creating speech aware software applications", stated Chris Spencer, CEO of Wizzard Software. "Our developers will incorporate our Voice Tools into a fast, effective, Voice Interface which should encourage similar projects in the future." Wizzard will provide its proprietary speech recognition programing tools as well as its custom programming and consulting skills to speech-enable and enhance the BSA software. The objective is to make the BSA software easier to use, improve processing and increase effectiveness through the use of speech recognition and thus support the efforts of the USPS in its compliance. "Wizzard is proud to have been selected to work for the USPS and support its dedication to law enforcement and public safety", says Gene Franz, Director of Sales and Marketing for Wizzard Software. "After completion of this prototype we hope to have a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the USPS."
