Unveil Technologies and ScanSoft Partner to Deliver Speech-Enabled Call Center Applications
WALTHAM , Mass. - Unveil Technologies, Inc. will support and offer ScanSoft speech solutions with the Unveil Conversation Suite. The Unveil Conversation Suite is a speech application management environment that enables enterprise call centers to build, deploy and maintain speech applications.
The Unveil Conversation Suite is a speech application management environment that is built on open software; Unveil Conversation Suite is VoiceXML-2.0 compliant. Unveil Conversation Studio provides an integrated environment for customers to develop, test, deploy and tune speech applications. The Unveil Conversation Server is J2EE-based server software that manages the run-time execution, administration and monitoring of speech applications.
Applications built with the Unveil Conversation Suite provide software-based virtual agents that:
- Understand callers' conversational requests using speech grammars;
- Integrate with live agents to extend self-service transactions (Conversation Assist);
- Adapt to caller interactions (Adaptive Learning).
As part of this agreement, Unveil and ScanSoft will be working with existing IVR platform partners to support integrated solutions and services. In addition, Unveil's support of ScanSoft's recently announced xHMI initiative ensures interoperability between Unveil Conversation Suite and future improvements to ScanSoft's speech software and related development tools.
