Vail Systems, Paraxip Technologies and CYGCOM Partner to Enable Converged Communication for Microsoft Speech Server

DEERFIELD, Ill., MONTREAL, Canada, and TORONTO, Canada - Vail Systems together with Paraxip Technologies and CYGCOM Integrated Technologies released a suite of telephony connectivity bundles, based on Intel® NetStructure™ communications building blocks, for Microsoft Speech Server 2004. The turnkey product bundles provide application developers worldwide with the ability to write speech applications for the converged network. The bundles range from 4-port analog connectivity to 4 T1/E1 digital connectivity to the PSTN and all include an embedded SIP media gateway.
 
The turnkey bundles are composed of:

  • Microsoft Speech Server 2004
  • Vail Systems SIP Telephony Interface Manager (TIM)
  • Paraxip Gateway software
  • Intel® NetStructure TM communications building blocks
  • UNYCOM Servers (Intel® Telephony Certified)
  • CYGCOM eSupport

The companies further announced a program to enable the upgrade of customers who have existing Intel® NetStructure™ boards to a converged communication architecture using the Paraxip Gateway software and the Vail SIP TIM. CYGCOM also announced the availability of a 4-port Starter Kit, which includes an Intel® Dialogic® D4PCIU4S board, designed to help customers move toward this architecture.
