Valor Multimedia Selects Gogo Navigation Software with Loquendo TTS for In-Dash Navigation Product

Valor Multimedia, a provider of mobile video products, EnGIS Technologies, a supplier of navigation software, and speech technology provider Loquendo have teamed up to launch  Valor Multimedia’s latest in-dash navigation product integrating EnGIS Technologies’ Gogo Navigation Software and Loquendo Text-to-Speech (TTS).

Valor’s latest 2 DIN AM/FM, CD/DVD, DDN-868W will come feature-packed with an easy-to-access menu via its 6.2-inch touch screen. Other features will include hands-free Bluetooth operation, SD, flash drive support, front/rear aux-in, integrated steering wheel control, and built in navigation.

The built in turn-by-turn navigation system from EnGIS supports the full map of North America, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico. A rich feature set delivers multilingual voice guidance powered by Loquendo’s embedded TTS, a database of 3 million points of interest, signpost and lane guidance, automatic rerouting, plus many more features.
