Vocent Password Reset Application Qualified for Deployment on VoiceGenie NeXusPoint 6.4 Platform

TORONTO and MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. —  VoiceGenie Technologies Inc. and Vocent Solutions Inc. announced the integration of Vocent Password Reset with VoiceGenie's latest VoiceXML platform, NeXusPoint 6.4.

Vocent's voice authentication solutions verify caller identities by leveraging voice biometrics and other caller information with logic and risk modeling to make accurate authentication decisions. By eliminating PIN numbers and minimizing challenge-response questions, customers are provided with access to their accounts, personal information or transactions.

The packaged Vocent Password Reset application allows users to securely reset passwords over the telephone. A virtual help desk employee that can handle password reset requests 24x7, it empowers employees and other users to manage their own passwords from any telephone by simply speaking to an automated system.

Running on NeXusPoint 6.4, VoiceGenie's VoiceXML 2.0 certified platform that delivers the industry's most flexible infrastructure for developing and deploying DTMF (touchtone) and/or speech-enabled applications, Vocent Password Reset integrates into existing help desk trouble ticket and identity management systems. It can also interface directly with existing back-end systems, offering password reset help and investment protection for the future.

Enterprises and call centers that employ VoiceGenie's VoiceXML speech solutions are able to leverage Vocent's voice authentication solutions.
