Vocomo to Release Ultra-Compact IVR Platform

CUPERTINO, CA - Vocomo Software Corporation, an IVR company, announced general availability of Vocomo Voice Response VVR/4 CUBE, an ultra-compact IVR platform with advanced speech capabilities. Based on industry standard VoiceXML 2.0, VVR/4 CUBE is a near-zero maintenance solution that works out-of-the-box. VVR/4 CUBE integrates telephony-based services with world-class speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies from IBM, SpeechWorks and Rhetorical. Vocomo's next-generation IVR system leverages common application server architectures to facilitate integration with existing Web services. VVR/4 CUBE is an open standards-based IVR. Standard development tools for VoiceXML allow developers and Value Added Resellers to create unique applications that can easily be bundled with VVR/4 CUBE. "With our revolutionary compact IVR we have created a whole new market opportunity for on-premise turnkey IVR solutions," said Danny B. Lange, CEO of Vocomo. "We have essentially created the most compelling alternative to hosted voice solutions for small-to-midsized businesses. Owning an IVR does not get easier than this." With its small footprint (7.9 x 7.3 x 11.9 in) and a weight of less than 7 lbs VVR/4 CUBE will fit anywhere in the office. A built-in 2 x 25 characters LCD display with touch buttons eliminates the need for keyboard, mouse and monitor. It features an AMD Athlon© processor and 1 GB of memory with plenty of capacity for on-the-box applications. A four port analog Dialogic board connects the IVR to PSTN or PBX. VVR/4 CUBE also features optional natural sounding Text-to-Speech and advanced Speech Recognition capabilities. Aa Web-based administration console allows this IVR to be managed from any computer on the network. VVR/4 CUBE is shipping now and is offered at a base price for the appliance starting at $3,495 including four ports of VoiceXML. Add four ports of natural sounding text-to-speech from $1,875 and add four ports of advanced speech recognition capability from $3,995.
