Vognition Launches with a Smart Home Voice Controller
Vognition has released a voice control solution for manufacturers of smart home hubs that enables users to operate lights, devices, thermostats, locks, garage doors, fans, sensors, blinds, and more using voice commands.
The underlying technology driving Vognition's voice control app is a natural language understanding engine that comprehends what users says to the smart home devices. The app understands the state of smart devices within the home via the manufacturers' smart home hub.
Vognition provides a full smart home voice portal that crosses all voice portals on iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices, Amazon's Echo devices, wearables, and any other voice portal.
Vognition's embedded technology is ported to a cloud solution. The company says it will always offer cloud connectivity to offer continuous improvements.
Vognition is available now to manufacturers of smart home hubs. The solution has already been deployed by Nexia Home, a division of Ingersoll Rand, to provide voice controls for the Nexia Home hubs.
