Voice-enabled Interactive Quiz from Saffron Interactive

LONDON ENGLAND AND DUBLIN, IRELAND - Saffron, the UK's learning solutions provider, and Voxpilot Ltd., the pan-European VoiceXML company, have teamed up with the goal of helping Comic Relief raise £10,000 for some of the poorest and most vulnerable people in Africa and the UK. By dialling the telephone number 0906 617 4444 from Britain, callers are able to take part in an interactive quiz, pit their wits against their peers, and win one of the two flights to Paris that are offered as a prize. 40 pence per minute of each phone call will be donated to Comic Relief. The application, developed by eLearning provider Saffron Interactive for Red Nose Day, uses its patented voice recognition technology Assure, and is hosted on Voxpilot's outsourced pan-European VoiceXML Gateway. Hanif Sazen, COO of Saffron Interactive, explains: "We have used this technology to train thousands of users in the UK. Assure provides our customers with a cost-effective and efficient way to assess knowledge and to comply with regulatory requirements that they may be facing.
