Voxpilot and Newfound Communications Establish Partnership

DUBLIN, IRELAND and LAWRENCE, MA - Newfound Communications, an enterprise focused on Advanced Grammar Management Technologies, and Voxpilot, the pan-European VoiceXML VSP, have established a partnership to bring Newfound Communications' technology to Voxpilot's developer community and end-customers. Newfound Communications' software and services resolve one of the greatest impediment to creating speech-driven applications - the proper utilization of large and complex grammars. With Newfound's Advanced Grammar Management Kit, Voxpilot's developer community will be able to build grammars and vocabularies as well offer search capabilities within enterprise and other speech applications (search of email, news, knowledge bases, calendar events, etc.). "Newfound Communications and Voxpilot share the vision of combining technology, tools and expertise to cut development cost, speed voice application development, improve accuracy, add application efficiency, and thereby increase customer satisfaction" explained Dr. Jonathan Alcantara, CEO of Voxpilot. "Newfound Communications' advanced tools will enable the European developer community to create and efficiently manage complex grammars. I am certain that the AGM Kit will prove immensely useful by lowering required expertise, thus allowing more developers to develop bigger grammars with better accuracy and shorter development cycles." Kris Hopkins, CEO of Newfound Communications, added "From cities, streets and names to mixed initiative grammars, a speech application's usability and success is measured by the quality of its grammar. By combining Voxpilot's robust VSP platform and Newfound's AGM software, Voxpilot and Newfound Communications are committed to providing simplified development and unparalleled production environments for accurate, reliable and robust speech applications."
