Wanda Expands Patient Management Platform with Enhanced Patient Adherence Features

Wanda, Inc. announced a significant expansion of its market- Patient Management Platform with expansive new features to further improve patient care plan adherence. The Wanda solution, embedded with machine learning, predicts 90% of patient-level adverse events seven days before they occur and then facilitates virtual interventions to keep them from occurring. The enhanced Patient Reminder Suite empowers clinicians to better engage patients in care plan adherence through personalized reminders and alerts, which can be pre-scheduled and delivered via multi-modal communications. The enhancements also include the adoption of the Cloud Text-to-Speech API from Google that uses machine learning to deliver natural-sounding human voice automation.

The combined effect of the enhanced reminder tools, the early prediction of adverse events, and the virtual intervention insight gives providers a highly intelligent method to defend against the costs of unplanned readmissions and emergency department visits due to non-adherence.
