iVoice Announces Compatibility Certification by NEC America

MATAWAN, NJ - iVoice Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IVOC), a provider of speech recognition technology, announced that its Speech Enabled Auto Attendant is now certified for operation by NEC America Inc. (NEC) for compatibility with select members of the NEAX family of private branch exchange (PBX) telephone systems. The iVoice Speech Enabled Auto Attendant allows businesses to incorporate speech recognition into their current communications systems without duplicating their current voicemail applications. NEC recently introduced the NEAX 2400 IPX and NEAX 2000 IPS voice platforms with full circuit-switched reliability and functionality, enabling customers to deploy IP telephony according to their business needs without compromising the user experience. "NEC welcomes iVoice's Speech Enabled Auto Attendant solution as a certified product in the Fusion Strategic Alliance program. iVoice's solution enables NEC customers to improve speed and service, allowing them to bypass the phone keypad through the interactive speech recognition system," said Jay Krauser, assistant general manager of product management in NEC America's Corporate Networks Group. "We are pleased to be able to offer NEC users an economical solution that adds additional value to their NEC equipment investment," said Jerry Mahoney of iVoice. "Eliminating the 'dial the name on the keypad' will greatly improve the callers experience and allow faster access to their intended party."
