RankMiner Takes Third-Place Finish in Innovation Program
RankMiner, an AI tech startup founded in St. Petersburg by entrepreneur Preston Faykus, announced that it won third place in the BMO Harris/1871 Innovation Program pitch competition and was awarded a $10,000 prize. RankMiner harnesses machine learning and predictive voice analytics to enable enterprises to predict agent attrition, increase sales, and improve collections.
Unlike speech analytics, RankMiner patented algorithms analyze 383 features from the voice, including energy, intensity, and frequency to extract the expressed emotions and behaviors that lead to specific business outcomes. RankMiner’s national and international clients have realized business improvements of up to 200% over previous methods using RankMiner. The voice analytics market is expected to be worth $3.69 billion by 2023.
This second edition of the BMO Harris / 1871 Innovation Program focused on startups with solutions in lending, financial planning, digital tools, and data analytics. RankMiner was the only startup selected outside of the banking industry. This year’s program received support from Wisconsin-based gener8tor and Kinnektor organizations, and selected startups received access to resources from BMO, a membership to 1871, and an opportunity to win cash prizes. Rank Miner was awarded third place, winning $10,000.
