ReadSpeaker Merges Licensing and Cloud Businesses

ReadSpeaker is merging its licensing and cloud-based businesses, enabling more organizations to create voice solutions via flexible deployment and pricing options.

With ReadSpeaker's cloud offering, organizations can leverage text-to-speech capabilities via TextAid, webReader, voice-enabled web content, and web-based applications. ReadSpeaker's licensed option covers organizations with devices and equipment that are not connected to the internet or that manage digital voice applications via privately managed servers. It can also be used to voice-enable standalone devices.

"As a long-standing pillar of the voice industry, ReadSpeaker maintains its unwavering commitment to democratizing voice technology and empowering organizations to engage with audiences using trusted voice solutions," said ReadSpeaker's president, Matt Muldoon, in a statement. "As the demand for digital voice accelerates, this merger will allow us to better serve our customers' needs without sacrificing the industry-leading data privacy and security that our brand is known for."
