D-ID Launches Chat.D-ID with Voice Capabilities

D-ID has launched a beta version of its new web app that allows users to talk face to face with artificial intelligence Called chat.D-ID, the web app combines D-ID's text-to-video technology with OpenAI's ChatGPT.

In essence, chat.D-ID gives ChatGPT a voice and a face. When users open the web app, they'll be greeted by an avatar named Alice. They can communicate with Alice by voice or text.

Going forward, D-ID hopes to add a variety of other avatars and allow users to create their own by uploading images.
