Intrado Brings Voice Translation and Transcription to 9-1-1 Response

Intrado Life & Safety, a provider of 9-1-1 communications and technology, today released Voice-to-Text (VTT) translation and transcription technology for public safety answering points (PSAPs) to communicate with callers in more than 40 languages.

Intrado's AI VTT translation and transcription technology includes automated language detection and presents PSAP users with a live conversation transcript containing translations in both the callers' and telecommunicators' native languages.
