Neospeech Announces Reseller Agreement with Babel Technologies

FREMONT, CA - NeoSpeech, a provider of speech technologies for hand-held, desktop and network/server applications, has announced that it has entered into a reseller agreement with Babel Technologies S.A. The move is intended to expand NeoSpeech's language coverage for its Text-to-Speech (TTS) product line and customer base. Under the terms of the agreement, NeoSpeech will resell, deploy and support Babel's BrightSpeech and Babil TTS solutions for telephony and PC desktop developers in North America.  Babel's BrightSpeech is a Windows-based, TTS software engine that is available in Spanish, French, German, Swedish and Dutch. Additionally, it is fully compatible with Babel's existing and established TTS solution, Babil, which supports a total of 18 languages. As part of the agreement, NeoSpeech will also resell future languages introduced by Babel. As a result of the partnership with Babel, NeoSpeech has already signed agreements and amendments with four of its customers, including Vantage, T&S Software, PhoneTree and Personify Technologies for additional languages. All four companies wanted Spanish language support, while Personify also required French language support. "This agreement reflects NeoSpeech's ongoing commitment to supporting the evolving needs of our customers. We're pleased to partner with Babel, as both companies share a similar dedication to raising the bar on natural sounding, superior quality TTS solutions," stated Lin Chase, CEO of NeoSpeech. "Our customers already benefit from our support of a broad range of industry standard operating systems and platforms and can now benefit from our support of a broad range of languages too."   Said Vincent Fontaine, CEO of Babel Technologies, "We value NeoSpeech's recognition of our high quality voice engine and broad support for multiple languages. We look forward to building a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership with them."
