SRC Brings Dictation Solutions to the Internet with SRC Direct

LONDON - SRC has launched SRC Direct, an e-commerce Web site offering professionals digital dictation and speech recognition products. SRC Direct will provide digital dictation and speech recognition products from manufacturers
Olympus , Philips and ScanSoft to professional services firms, government and commercial organizations.
The e-commerce division has been established to complement SRC's core business, providing implementations of digital dictation and speech recognition solutions and services.
The SRC Direct Web site lists each product description, which includes a rating from SRC's consultants evaluating the design, functions and overall performance of the product.
SRC's consultants are also available via the online inquiry form to advise customers on their purchasing decisions.
In addition to individual products, SRC Direct also offers a number of unique product combinations including Quick-Start and Multi-User packages.
The Quick-Start digital dictation packages include a digital handheld recorder, transcription software and hardware and SRC's training materials, which are used by SRC consultants when training deployments.
Each package is followed by 3-months of telephone support to ensure that any technical problems or queries are resolved.
Multi-User packages have similar components to Quick-Start packages, but are designed for small workgroups or departments - 5 authors and 2 secretaries for digital dictation, and 5 users for speech recognition.
SRC's clients include companies, professional services firms and government organizations, such as British American Tobacco, Chesterton, Dickinson Dees, EC Harris, FirstAssist, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Hill Dickinson, HSBC, Irwin Mitchell, London Underground, Pannone and Partners, Royal and Sun Alliance, The Corporation of London, The Court Service and The Land Registry.
