Aculab Partners With Sound of Data

- Prosody X, the media processing resource card from Aculab, has undergone its first commercial deployment with The Sound of Data - operator of one a European platform for voice, SMS and mobile data services. The new platform is designed to handle large volume media/mass calling activities, as well as voice services.

The Sound of Data has been using Aculab's Prosody PCI cards in its solution for a number of years. The Sound of Data decided to use Prosody X and wanted its solution to provide for both current TDM and future IP solutions.
