VoiceObjects Partners With Oracle in Service Delivery Platform Partner Initiative

SAN MATEO, Calif. - VoiceObjects, a phone application server company, will support the Oracle Service Delivery Platform (SDP) Partner Initiative. Leveraging the Oracle SDP, which builds on the capabilities of Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle's grid infrastructure, VoiceObjects will enable its customers to deploy open, standards-based services in IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) environments. Oracle's SDP, which is based on IP, SIP, SOA, open hardware, and open operating systems, can be deployed in place of proprietary IVR systems and telecom-carrier voice infrastructure.

Telecommunications carriers deploying joint VoiceObjects-Oracle SDP solutions can:

  • Implement integrated carrier portals that allow for cross-selling of current siloed services
  • Integrate billing and other business services that previously presented significant integration challenges
  • Develop applications using the software development environments used to develop business applications
  • Enable third parties to develop new services based on voice, video, text, and graphics
