Siemens OpenScape Xpressions Integrates Dragon Voicemail-to-Text

Siemens Enterprise Communications has integrated Nuance Communications' Dragon Voicemail-to-Text into its OpenScape Xpressions Unified Messaging solution.

With the OpenScape Xpressions voicemail-to-text feature, enterprises can keep their workforces more connected and responsive from virtually anywhere. Voicemail is transcribed using Nuance's  Dragon voicemail-to-text technology and delivered to email. All messages contain the original audio file for listening when necessary.

"Offering key features such as voicemail, unified messaging, a sophisticated speech-enabled voice portal, intuitive multimedia messaging blending, and access from a variety of media and devices, OpenScape Xpressions was designed to make enterprise workers more productive and responsive from anywhere," said Rick Puskar, senior vice president of global portfolio management at Siemens, in a statement. "With Dragon Voicemail-to-Text, our customers can easily read their voicemail messages from their preferred email clients, which saves time, increases convenience, and improves productivity."

The voicemail-to-text capability of OpenScape Xpressions is now available for enterprise deployment, supporting English and German, with plans for additional languages later this year.
