Cadence Tensilica HiFi DSPs Now Support Dynamic Speaker Management Software from Maxim Integrated
The Dynamic Speaker Management (DSM) software from Maxim Integrated Products has been ported and optimized to run on Cadence Design Systems' Tensilica HiFi Audio/Voice digital signal processors (DSPs).
The Tensilica HiFi DSP audio/voice/speech DSP family supports more than 160 proven audio/voice software packages and more than 75 software partners in the Tensilica Xtensions partner program.
"Maxim develops high-quality solutions that can elevate the audio experience of mobile and wearable devices," said Larry Przywara, group director of audio/voice IP marketing at Cadence, in a statement. "Many of our mobile OEM and semiconductor customers are integrating Maxim's DSM technology with our proven HiFi DSP cores to provide excellent sound quality and increased reliability with the micro speakers that are popular in today's wearable- and mobile-driven marketplace."
Alango Voice Communication and Voice Enhancement Packages and Waves Audio's Nx Virtual Reality Audio Technology are now available for Cadence Tensilica HiFi digital signal processors.
The HiFi Integrator Studio provides an audio framework for digital signal processors.
DSP's Audio Weaver development environment has been optimized for Cadence's Tensilica HiFi Audiuo/Voice processors.
