Dialogic Communications Corporation Announces Joint Reseller Partnership with Phonetic Systems

Dialogic Communications, a company involved in high-speed notification technology, announced its partnership with Phonetic Systems, a provider of real-time and large scale speech recognition solutions.

The strategic partnership will allow both organizations to sell Phonetic Systems' voice-enabled auto attendant and data retrieval software, PhoneticOperator, and Dialogic's high-speed notification product, The Communicator!. Both organizations are currently developing software interfaces that will enable the two products to work together.

By combining an speech interface with emergency broadcast messaging, customers can initiate a message to a group by simply using their voice, removing the need to carry wallet cards with IDs, PINs, distribution lists, etc. Caller identities can be authenticated with speaker verification, spoken passwords or other security methods.

"This initiative enables DCC and Phonetic Systems to mutually benefit from the advances that both companies have made in communication technology," said Gene Kirby, CEO of Dialogic. "By joining forces, we are heightening awareness of both products, which strengthens our market position and ultimately benefits the customer." "

This combined offering provides our respective customers with a robust and comprehensive solution that surpasses anything currently available in the voice solutions or broadcast messaging field," said Mark Bannon, vice president of global sales and technical services. "The value it provides during emergency situations can make a big difference to how swiftly they can respond and keeps the business continuation process moving forward, which is critical in the first 24 hours."

The companies will market their combined solutions to public safety operations, higher education institutions, Fortune 500 corporations, healthcare facilities and a host of other organizations across the country.
