Metaphor Launches SpeechOutlook

WELLESLEY, Mass. - Metaphor Solutions released SpeechOutlook, which provides voice access to Microsoft Outlook contacts over any phone. People can call any of their contacts by name or search for them by different categories. Subscribers speed dial to one access number and get transferred to one of their contacts by saying their name. Synchronization and updates of all contacts from Outlook are automatic.

"SpeechOutlook makes it very easy and quick for me to access my Outlook contacts.  By dialing a single number, I am able to connect to any of the thousands of contacts in my Outlook when I am traveling, especially when I am driving," said Imran Haque, director of global business technology at Pfizer.

SpeechOutlook installs on the user's PC in with a free Outlook add-in from the Web. When the installation is done, phone access to Outlook contacts is immediate. SpeechOutlook works with Microsoft Outlook 2000/2002/2003 and with both POP3 and Exchange profiles. A multimedia animated demo and Web links to the software installation are available on: http://www.metaphorsol.com/solutions/speechoutlook.htm
