SPIRIT Announces Voice + Fax Over IP DSP Software Solution

MOSCOW, RUSSIA - SPIRIT, a software developer for Texas Instruments' DSP platforms in Europe, introduces configurable Voice + Fax over IP solution designed to provide core functionality for development of voice-over-packet applications. SPIRIT's Voice + Fax over IP solution is a software bundle with unified interface, which integrates all DSP building blocks necessary for designing a VoIP solution thus allowing system designers to concentrate their efforts on product development. SPIRIT's Voice+Fax over IP shortens time-to-market and development costs by providing all configurable building blocks necessary for designing a complete VoIP solution. The software package integrates Speech Compression algorithms (G.723.1, G.729AB, G.711, and G.726), T.38 Fax Relay, Echo Cancellation (G.168-2000), UMTD, Jitter Buffer, VAD / CNG, Tone Rejection and other configurable building blocks. SPIRIT's Voice + Fax over IP software package is available in the form of object codes for Texas Instruments' C54x, C54CST, C55x, and also as DLLs for MS Windows.
