VoxSurf launches VxOne Platform

VoxSurf announced the launch of its VxOne platform. VxOne is based entirely on open standards, enabling service providers to add components to existing infrastructure such as e-mail stores and LDAP directories. It is based entirely on IP, allowing scalability from hundreds to millions of subscribers. It also enables the service provider to gather detailed information about what their subscribers are doing, and to develop services tailored to their most profitable market segments. "Open Standards, IP-based messaging is the future of all network-based voicemail and messaging services and VoxSurf's VxOne is at the forefront of this technology," said VoxSurf's co-founder Andy Munarriz. "The modular design of VxOne™ allows the service provider to build a solution that meets the needs of their most valuable customers and at the same time to migrate these customers to a flexible, open and cost-effective platform, thereby maximizing their return on investment." VxOne can be enhanced with a series of optional extra features, ranging from voice-controlled e-mail for mobile users to the secure consolidation of voicemails and other message types into corporate e-mail clients. It can mimic incumbent voicemail systems while introducing new features and accommodate new message types and other technologies as they emerge.
