Microsoft Introduces Dictation to Office Apps

Microsoft is testing voice dictation for Office, according to its own Twitter feed, and a post on its site. Office Insiders have been testing the new service since March 12, but according to the announcement, it does exactly what you might expect it to do: “Dictate uses your voice to author documents, presentations, emails and take notes in Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote.”

The Dictate service is only available to Office 365 subscribers, and is only available to English speakers in the U.S. You’ll also need to be running the latest version of Office to get the Dictate feature.
