Odinga English Launches Hindi Version

The Plan G, a South Korean firm, has released a Hindi version of its popular Odinga English mobile e-learning app.

Odinga English uses artificial intelligence and voice recognition to help young children learn and practice English speaking. The user acts as an English teacher who teaches a character from space called Odinga with the help of an English professor through a role-playing method.

The Hindi version is the first of many foreign language versions to be added.

"Not only is India one of the larger markets, with the potential of a population of 1.3 billion, but with regular school life becoming difficult with the spread of coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown from the Indian government, the demand for non-face-to-face online education has exploded within India," said Kyungah Lee, CEO of the Plan G, in a statement.
