Universal Electronics Partners with Instreamatic on Voice-Enabled Interactive TV Ads
Universal Electronics Inc. (UEI), a provider of universal control and sensing technologies for the smart home, is partnering with Instreamatic, providers of a voice dialogue marketing platform powered by artificial intelligence, to bring Instreamatic's interactive voice-enabled advertising to home entertainment devices such as set-top boxes and smart TVs.
Instreamatic's platform includes an ad exchange for publishers and advertisers to manage, measure, and monetize their content with conversational ads, while also allowing them to use their existing ad tech solutions.
In working with Instreamatic, UEI which has already shipped more than 100 million voice-enabled remote controls to the world's largest consumer electronics companies and video service providers, will provide a voice-enabled experience that allows consumers to interact with ads on TV through personalized conversational content designed to drive awareness and sales. The experience can be further enhanced with personalized context when used with UEI's QuickSet platform for simplifying universal entertainment and smart home setup and control.

Solutions will be available for smart TV manufacturers in April and for video service providers in June.
