Sun ONE Application Server 7 Enhances SoftServer Platform's Capability

BOULDER, CO - SandCherry Inc., a provider of multi-service broker software for applications and media resources, has completed the integration of Sun ONE Application Server 7 with SandCherry's SoftServer platform. This software integration brings a scalable Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE)-compatible solution to the SoftServer platform and significantly expands options for the affordable mass deployment of advanced and next-generation services such as voice dialing, voice-enabled customer service applications and multimodality. "The Sun ONE Application Server allows customers to tailor a solution to their specific needs," said Dale Hartzell, SandCherry's vice president of marketing. "This is essential to the SoftServer platform's ability to be configured for different levels of performance and reliability, delivering solutions ranging from smaller enterprise to large, carrier-class applications." Sun ONE Application Server 7, which can be used internally for the SoftServer platform's provisioning and database components and externally for services components offers increased performance for both carrier and enterprise solutions.
