SpeechPro Introduces VoiceKey.WebAccess

SpeechPro, a provider of voice biometric software, today launched VoiceKey.WebAccess, which will enable users to access Web applications simply by speaking short passphrases and by capturing pictures of their faces, all without having to type in passwords.

VoiceKey.WebAccess can also be used to gain access to corporate networks or online accounts. The authentication process takes just a few seconds.

VoiceKey.WebAccess is built on standards-based architecture and can be integrated into almost any Web application using Web services via application programming interfaces (APIs). The technology will work with almost any device that has a microphone and camera.

"The addition of VoiceKey.WebAccess offers enterprises a comprehensive access suite for clients who no longer have to remember passwords," said Alexey Khitrov, president of SpeechPro USA, in a statement. "Whether you use your computer for banking, shopping, health-care access, or a corporate network, you have to deal with multiple usernames and passwords. VoiceKey.WebAccess from SpeechPro solves the password problem once and for all by getting rid of them. VoiceKey.WebAccess identifies you the same way your friends do—with your face and voice."

VoiceKey.WebAccess uses a unique triple biometric accuracy process that combines speaker authentication, facial recognition, and a liveness test. The liveness test ensures there's an actual person in front of the device, not a photo or an audio recording. The technology uses a combination of more than 70 voice features and more than 40 facial features to confirm that a person's identity is accurate.
